Pleasington Paws is a professional and compassionate Dog Walking & Pet Care Service you can trust, offering unparalleled excellence and care for your beloved pet.
I am fully qualified, DBS checked and trained in Emergency Pet First Aid. I also invest in my own continuous professional development and have completed a number of integrated training and assessment courses and online seminars in order to stay up to date with current pet industry information and research. These include, Dog Breeds, Canine First Aid & CPR and Positive Reinforcement.
I see each pet as unique, which is why all of my dog walking and pet care services are completely personalised and tailor-made to fit your needs and preferences.

ABOUT ME
Hi, I am Julia, the proud owner of Pleasington Paws. I am truly passionate about animals and have owned a variety of pets over the years, big and small.
I live in Pleasington with my adorable labrador Willow. Sydney, my rescue cat and Ozzy, the bearded dragon. Raising pets of all kinds has given me a great deal of insight and experience into animal care.
I am fit and strong with a real energy and passion for the outdoors. I particularly love travelling to beautiful destinations with my family where I can spend time hiking,
exploring, paddle boarding and anything else that involves outdoor pursuits! The Lake District and Snowdonia are just two of my favourite stomping grounds. Come rain or shine, you'll find me out and about with a spring in my step accompanied by my happy dogs.

SERVICES
DOG WALKING
When walking your dog, my aim is to build a positive and caring bond enabling them to feel secure and happy on their walks. I can guarantee your dog's walk will be full of adventure, interest and exercise set in beautiful locations. My walks take place in woodland settings and scenic trails away from busy roads and crowded parks full of distractions and other dogs.
Each walk will provide your dog with all the emotional, social interaction and physical health benefits they require providing you with total peace of mind that you will be returning to a happy and content dog. Your dog will be transported in custom made K9 Lintran crates or secure safety harnesses and seat belts inside the vehicle. After every walk, your dog will be thoroughly cleaned and dried off with large towels, removing any dirt from their fur and paws. If your dog gets especially muddy, I carry a portable dog shower in my vehicle ensuring a clean dog on their return home.
To begin any new walk, your dog will be initially walked on a lead. However, once I have your written consent and I am happy with your dogs recall, an off-lead walk will be provided. It is also very important that new dogs who join our walks are well socialised, friendly and have basic training ensuring that all dogs who are walked in a group get along together. If for whatever reason your dog is nervous or reactive around other dogs, I offer a solo walk service. Also, non-neutered female dogs can not be walked in their usual group until their season comes to an end. Finally, it is vital that all dogs have a suitable collar, I.D. tag, microchipped and are up to date with all relevant vaccinations.

PUPPY VISITS
Pleasington Paws will take care of your puppy with the up-most care and love they need at this critical stage in their development. I will ensure your puppy is fed, watered, toileted and any little accidents cleaned up on arrival. Your puppy will then be provided with a
fun-filled playtime and loving companionship for the duration of the visit whilst also providing basic training and short walks when required.
PET CARE
Leaving your pet at home alone is sometimes your only option. When you're at work you need peace of mind that your pet will be cared for in a professional and timely manner. With this in mind, your pet will be watered, fed and toileted on arrival and a thorough empty and clean of litter trays, bedding, etc. will be provided. If your dog is elderly and just needs a cuddle, or you have a housebound pet through illness, Pleasington Paws will administer medication and an abundance of love and attention that your pet requires.
HEALTH & SAFETY
You can trust Pleasington Paws to reassure you that the utmost attention and care will be provided with regards to the health and safety and security of your pet and property.
When entering your home, I will be wearing a fresh pair of protective shoe covers ensuring the highest level of cleanliness at all times. Also, every dog will have their own individual fresh, clean towel provided, meaning no towel is ever shared amongst their dog buddies in the group. Finally, each K9 Lintran crate and travel harnesses will be cleaned down thouroughly after the days walks. This guarantees that your dog will be travelling in a clean and hygenic environment at all times.
I pay special attention to the security of your dog and regard this aspect as a vital prerequisite to my dog walking service. I ensure that your dog's tag containing personal information is edited out on photographs. Also, your pets name and location of your dog's walk are never mentioned when images are up loaded. Finally, pictures of your dog or pet will only ever be used with your full agreement. Your dog's safety is vital to both you and myself. I can safely say that my current clients are delighted and very reassured with my approach to the safety and protection of thier beloved dog.
MEET AND GREET
Once you have contacted my service and wish to book, I will provide a complimentary meet and greet consultation. This service is invaluable as it allows me to get know you and your pet, and crucially, for you and your pet to get to know me. This service will take place in the comfort of your own home where you can share your details and your pets preferences, and service requirements.
